We all understand that being drunk of alcoholic beverages can impair the mind.

For alcoholics, particularly, could we also surmise
that the drunkard has sacrificed his/her body to alcoholism?

But…

Alcoholism is not the only thing a person can sacrifice his or her livelihood for.

We all get to decide whom or what we present or offer our bodies, minds, and souls to.

Being less than sober to a thing causes one to be influenced by that thing.
And, how would we know the extent of that influence if we are less than aware of it?
