If you don’t want to make an effort, take initiative, or pursue progress, then there’s another option. You can do the opposite. You know… like be a slacker.

But beware! Here’s what you have to do.

All you have to do is find the easy way out every time and take it. Much better than over-exertion.

You have privileges of rest and relaxation so use them fully. “Painstaking” effort is unnecessary. Really, just sit around waiting for time to pass until someone says you did enough.

No need to fuss over hard work. Just leave it be. Procrastination gets the best outcome. Literally, the category of “let things happen”.

Excuses versus action? You see, one is satisfying and the other requires effort. The choice is easy.

Oh goodness! It’s harvest time. Who planted nothing? This is not hard to figure out. Sowing nothing reaps nothing.

Work for minutes. Take breaks for hours. Say you’re doing so much work, more than everyone else. Then wait for realistic data.

Like George Carlin’s statement, you too can be “that person who works enough not to be fired, and is paid enough not to quit.”

Be the opposite of ants. Wait to gather food until you really need it and the weather is too cold to hold. You know the deal, strength counts more than wisdom. Good luck with hunger!

Well, here’s to the people trying to motivate you to do something. Want to know how to get them to stop helping you? Hmm.

Resist…and keep resisting the help. Then further procrastinate for your pleasure. Fill your time with non-essential stuff and prioritize less beneficial work. They’ll surely get the point.

But for your sake, know that only one letter separates slack from lack.

This post is especially for those who made up their minds not to even try. In other words, those of you who won’t do even though you can.

These words may not be pretty but are meant to motivate you to create a positive change.

Change is required to improve in life.

Prioritize. Be intentional. Take the initiative.

Make an effort toward progress. Or else.
