Uncertainties. Global crises. Personal struggles. Sounds familiar, right?
These are moments in life that can stoke fears to threaten and overwhelm us. However, God’s protection offers profound comfort. But what does it truly mean to be “protected” by God? Let’s explore the promise of God’s safeguarding presence.
Scripture repeatedly affirms God as our protector. It is not an empty assurance. The promise is rooted in His unchanging character.
Psalm 91:1-4, “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty… He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge.” God nurtures and guards those who belong to Him, offering care and safety for those who seek Him.
2 Thessalonians 3:3, “The Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.” Protection is both spiritual and practical, guarding our hearts and steps.
Proverbs 18:10, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe.” His name—His very nature—is a place of unshakable security.
God’s protection is not a guarantee of trouble-free living but a promise of His presence and ultimate deliverance through trials.
